The WOmentoring Global experience is a 4 months program designed to support the career development and personal growth of female engineering students in Tunisia. The program is run by the Open Minds Project in collaboration with GIZ digital Transformation, Tunisia Policy Circle, the Hunt Institute for Engineering & Humanity and the Lyle School of Engineering.
Local Inspiration: The program will feature a series of local events and activities aimed at inspiring and motivating the participating students. These events may include talks by successful women in engineering, networking opportunities, and other activities designed to expose the students to the range of career options available to them.
Virtual Mentoring: Each participating student will be paired with a mentor from the Tunisian diaspora who has experience in the engineering field. These mentors will provide guidance, support, and advice to the students throughout the program.
Onsite Workshops: The program will also include a series of onsite workshops and training sessions designed to help the students develop their skills and knowledge. These workshops may cover topics such as project management, teamwork, and communication skills, among others.
International Experience: The program culminates in an international experience at the Hunt Institute of Engineering & Humanities and the Lyle School of Engineering at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. This experience will provide the students with the opportunity to learn from leading experts in their field

The WOmentoring program is a collaboration between the Open Minds project and GIZ Tunisia Digital Transformation team. This initiative is designed to support and empower women-led startups in Tunisia by pairing them with experienced mentors who come from a diverse range of backgrounds.
Current Participating Startups:
The program includes 1–1 mentoring sessions, inspiring talks, training sessions, and other events that are customized to the needs of the participating startups. WOmentoring is more than just a mentoring initiative. In addition to 1–1 mentoring sessions and training sessions, the program also built a community for the participating startups to share resources and support each other as they navigate the challenges of starting and growing their startups.
