Program Manager Role
Role Summary:
The Open Minds Project Program Manager oversees daily operations, collaborating with the Director of mentoring and President.
Responsibilities include managing the GIZ partnership, the mentoring program, Ellevate conferences planning, and marketing efforts. The role involves leadership, project management, event planning, and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage GIZ partnership: Coordinate with digital transformation team, ensuring communication and collaboration for shared goals.
- Mentorship program: Recruit, match, and monitor mentors/mentees, ensuring program success and satisfaction.
- Schedule and organize various meetings, including mentoring sessions and partner meetings.
- Ellevate conferences: Plan and execute events, covering logistics, programming, marketing, and attendee experience.
- Marketing and Branding: Collaborate with Content/Brand Manager, using social media and Canva to enhance brand awareness and engage the target audience.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years in program management, event planning, or marketing.
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Experience in event planning, marketing, and social media tools
- Passion for women's empowerment and professional development.
